About Shai Vardi
Shai Vardi is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the University of South Florida. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Management at Purdue University. Before joining Purdue, he was a Linde Postdoctoral Fellow at the Social and Information Sciences Laboratory (SISL) at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tel Aviv in 2015, where he was mentored by the esteemed Professor Yishay Mansour.
Professor Vardi’s research is diverse and impactful, focusing on areas such as AI adoption, bias and creativity, as well as mechanism design and online platforms.
